With workflow templates, it’s never been easier to get a new Sora workflow up and running!
Using our learnings from years of HR automation and hands on workflow building with our amazing customers, we've created a bunch of workflow templates, for HR processes all across the employee journey.
The workflows are built out with tasks, triggers, emails with copy for you to tweak, calendar events – all of the things you need to start delivering a better employee experience.

So let's get started.
Choosing a template
First, right from your Sora dashboard, all admins will see a link to our workflow template library.
In the library you can look at all the templates, or use the use cases on the left to filter down to just the topics you're interested in.
Once you find a template you're interested in, select it to see a thorough run down of what is included in the workflow and what you'll need to launch it – including documents and information you'll need to gather, and task assignees you'll need to designate.
From here you can click the "Use template" button to add the workflow to your Sora as a draft.
Or, if you're still undecided, you can click "See preview" if you'd like to see the full workflow template – complete with tasks, triggers, survey questions, integrations ... you can see everything! And if it looks like what you need, just click the "Use this template" button to get started.
Customizing your workflow
Now that you've got your draft workflow, it's time to customize it to work best for you and your company.
You should have an idea of what you'll need to update from the template description in the library, but it's usually best just to start at the first stage, and quickly click through each task to see the details.
For any email, you'll of course want to thoroughly read through the template email copy and make any changes to customize it for your company. And you'll want to decide which email address the email should be sent from.
For task assignments, you'll want to similarly review the task instructions, and decide who the task should be assigned to.
For calendar events you'll want to review the attendees and timing. And for surveys you'll want to give each question a quick review and add any additional questions you'll need.
In no time, you'll understand each step in your new workflow, and be ready to add employees to it. Before you know it you’ll be saving hours and week, and consistently delivering a great employee experience.
